Jordi Cruz was born in 1978 and he studied at the Escuela Superior de Hostelería de Manresa. While studying at the age of 14 Jordi Cruz started working in the restaurant Estany Clar, until 2007.
During that period Jordi Cruz won several awards among which it is worth noting that in 2004 he became the youngest chef in Spain and the second in the World to obtain a Michelin Star.
In 2007, Jordi became head chef in the restaurant L´Angle de Món Sant Benet, as well as its manager. A year later the restaurant obtains its first Michelin Star.
Later, in 2010, he joined ABaC Restaurant & Hotel and two years after that, the restaurant recovered the second Michelin Star they had lost before Jordi Cruz’s arrival. In 2017, ABaC is awarded with the third Michelin Star.
In 2013, Jordi Cruz becomes one of the three jury chefs in the Masters Chef program of Spanish Television, a position he continues to hold during all seasons until today.
